I recently had a consultation with a doctor who said I would to much loose skin if I did lipo on my arms . Besides an arm lift is there an alternative to get a more slim look to my arms
Answer: Arm liposuction can make a huge difference when using the micro canulas to help skin tighten up. Liposuction of the arms does very well and can help the skin tighten some when done with the micro canulas under local. The arm tucks are now done with the incision hidden nicely in the armpits so don't be afraid if that is needed. It still is done under local.

Answer: Arm lipo. Is there an alternative to get a more slim look on my arms? Depending on your skin quality (tightness) lipo will reduce the volume, but not necessarily the shape if your skin is too loose. There are non-invasive methods to tighten the skin before and after surgery. At SK Clinic, we use thermage (radiofrequency) treatments to tighten the skin...it may take more than one treatment 3-4 months apart. Fraxel Restore or Fraxel Repair can also help to tighten the skin envelope. The combination of surgery and the non-invasive treatments can give you the ideal result. Post photos with your arms out 90 degrees (anterior and posterior) and down by your side. Good luck!

Answer: Arm treatment Liposuction removes fat from the arms and an arm lift will principally remove the skin and some underlying fat that is stuck to the skin. If you have good skin but fatty deposits then you are best treated with liposuction. If you have too much skin that will not snap back and give you a toght arm after the fat is removed by liposuction then you need an arm lift. Most patients will typically get one or the other but liposuction is frequently combined with an arm lift. Other laser and thermal treatments designed to tighten the arm can work but not nearly to the same extent as liposuction and an arm lift. If you have excess skin than it must be removed, that is cut out, by an arm lift. Unfortunately no other therapies can duplicate this.

Answer: Don't Be Fooled! Hello,You should visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in body contouring. If an armlift is recommended, then there is not alternative; not Vaser, not Inmode, not Bodytite, not Smartlipo, not Thermi, etc!!! Why? Because all these expensive, high tech gizmos can only tighten your skin by millimeters. If a qualified surgeon determines an arm lift is in order, you will need inches of skin removed. Don't fall for the hype and the (frankly) lies! Best of luck!

Answer: Arm lipo. Is there an alternative to get a more slim look on my arms? Thank you for your question. Photos would've been helpful. To get a slim, athletic looking arm, I find that the VASER Hi Def Lipo technique is the best. This is NOT fat reduction liposuction only, which is what most surgeons are familiar with. The VASER will tighten your skin significantly, avoiding a possible arm lift and define the arm muscles for an athletic looking arm. This can be done under local tumescent anesthesia only. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
