I need to find a doctor that is familiar with Lipedema?

I have stage 1 lipoedema maybe some stage 2. I need to find a doctor that is familiar with this condition and would like to know if they are familiar with transthermal lyposuction for this condition? also what are the costs?

It is extremely important you come to someone who has experience in this field, as lippy patients are very different that normal patients wanting liposuction. Lipedema is a curious disease that has many presentations,
can affect many body parts or areas and van have a number of causes.  Simply defined it is a condition of excess
fat in an area that has fluid in the tissue associated with it.  There are a number of potential treatments
including surgical and non-surgical.  The
surgical treatment is liposuction and the best form of liposuction to date is
smaller cannula, tumescent liposuction with fat equalization techniques.  The use of thermal energy (laser or ultrasound)
is no longer recommended as this can cause more damage resulting in more tissue
fluid.

Costs are dependent upon the size and location of the
problem and a consultation would be necessary to determine all of that.I hope that helps.Best regards.
