Can you get good results from FaceTite if you are thin and don't have much fat but just want lift and to build collagen?

I am 43, thinking of FaceTite. I had a thread lift with two threads put in each side but feel the FaceTite will give me a better result. However, the negative reviews I have read suggest that it is not as effective on women who are thin.

Hi Versatile5038; based on your age, you are a perfect candidate for FaceTite; however if you are thin with no facial fat, than FaceTite may not be an optimal treatment for you. However, the Morpheus 8 or Fractora might be the answer. There is also the option of a face lift. FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime.  Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. You may want to consider Sculptra if you are only 43 and thin.  This works very well by building volume and supporting the face.

Thank you for your questions. Yes! You can get a good result even if you have a thin face. Facetite works by using radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production and shrink wrap the tissues. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with the Facetite machine. I use Smartlipo or Facetite,depending on how much fat is in the neck,the patients age, weight and skin laxity. If you are young and thin you should get a noticeable result. Older thin patients do better with skin resection i.e. facelift

Minimally invasive procedures such as this usually give minimal results.  Much more information is needed such as a full set of facial photographs from all angles, and an in-person examination to determine the extent of laxity of the skin in the face at age 43.

FaceTite provides a dramatic improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck. FaceTite utilizes minimally invasive radiofrequency energy to melt fat and tighten skin. Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated. This includes the double chin, jowls, and other areas with deep lines and loose skin.Facetite results vary from person to person. I do not know how effective Facetite would be for you, especially if you do not have much fat to begin with, and are looking to build more collagen. You would probably be a candidate for Morpheus 8, which is a newer microneedling technique that produces collagen and firms/tightens the face and neck. Patients have found this to provide amazing results, regardless of how thin they are. You may need multiple treatments with Morpheus 8, but patients say it is undoubtedly worth it!!Please be sure to see a board-certified plastic surgeon you feel comfortable with. Best of luck!
