Thank you for the question. Most instances of pink-eye are viral in nature and should not cause a problem with implants, even though they can be quite contagious. If you have having eye problems, you should see your regular doctor to have it evaluated and treated and make sure it is not something else. That being said, if you are concerned about your implants, you can always contact your plastic surgeon for an evaluation.Best of luck!
Thanks for your inquiry. Pink eye is a viral cojunctivitis, not a bacterial infection. It travels from person to person and is highly contagious. I do not know if it would be a threat to your implant per se. Probably need to speak to your surgeon. Good Luck.
Hello, technically an infection elsewhere in the body could travel to your implants via the bloodstream, but this is very uncommon particularly after a superficial eye infection. However, it is still worthwhile having a proper medical assessment if you are concerned about an eye infection.
You would need to get the eyes treated for infection, but it is not possible of the infection to travel through the blood stream to the breasts during the surgery.

It is unlikely that pink eye will affect your breast implants. However it is contagious and should be treated by her primary physician.
