Is it bad that I can feel the edge of the implant in the middle of my chest? (Photo)

I did my BA on 05/16 with silicone implants and been having issues. On my left breast it still very hard and still high and my right breast I can feel the implant in the middle wall but the breast feel normal. I feel like Its a capsular contracture. But not sure on my right breast. What does it mean when u feel the implant? It feel like a bubble but also the edge of the implant. Both breat dont look the same.

Hello, depending on the amount of breast tissue you have, and the size of the implants, it could be completely normal to feel the edge of the implants.  Your PS will be able to determine if this is expected or if there is an issue like capsular contracture.  If you see a difference in their shape it is best to speak to your surgeon about this anyway.

Hi - it is hard to tell from your picture anything about the position of your implants, but it does sound like you should have your surgeon evaluate them.  The left breast that is hard and riding higher may have capsular contracture.  With regards to being able to feel your implants, this is most common on the lower outer edge of your breast where there is no muscle covering the implant.  Thin women without much of their own breast tissue are usually able to feel the edges more than larger women.  Best of luck -

Feeling the implants is likely due to the lack of soft tissue coverage. It is normal to feel them more in the lower pole.

It is not unusual for a thin women with a small amount of breast tissue to be able to feel her implant edges.The firmness of the one implant needs to be checked by your surgeon.  That is the only way to see if you have the start of a capsular contracture.  Check in with your surgeon to be examined and for a discussion.
