Yes, your breasts may become smaller if you lose weight after breast reduction surgery. Breast tissue includes fat cells, and they can become smaller as you lose weight, just like fat cells in other areas of the body. What is less easy to predict is exactly what percentage of weight loss will be reflected in your breasts, compared to other areas. As you probably know, weight loss isn't evenly distributed across the body, so it's possible that your breasts may not become noticeably smaller as you lose weight.
It is possible, it will depend on the ratio of fat to breast tissue you have, and that is different for every patient. If you lose weight the fat content in your breasts will reduce. So it will depend on how much fat remains in your breasts and how much weight you lose. Good luck!
Absolutely. When you lose weight your breasts will reduce in size. Equally if you put on weight your breasts will increase in size.
Good Question.Your breast is made up of breast glands and fat. The fat in your breast will respond to diet and exercise. So, if you lose weight the Fat component of your breast will respond by reducing in size. Whether it will become obvious, will depend on the amount of weight lost and the amount of fat in the breast.
Thank you for the question. It is difficult to predict, on a case-by-case basis, whether a woman's breasts will change in size/shape with weight loss. Having said that, most women who experience significant weight loss, will notice breast size change also.My best suggestion: achieve your long-term healthy weight. Hopefully, your breasts will change to your liking. Best wishes.
Hello, and thank you for your question.Everyone loses weight in different areas, and that includes breasts. Just speak to anyone who has lost, or put on, weight. If you have fat cells there, they can reduce in size when you lose weight, and so that area looks smaller. That includes the breasts, and surgery does not change that. So, if you have a lot of fat cells in your breasts, then yes, you may lose weight in that area. And how much weight you lose obviously affects this as well. This is different for every patient, so it is difficult to predict in advance.I hope this has been of value for you
It sounds that you may have some fat necrosis in your healing breast reduction surgery. These are not serious, but need excision to remove them.
I'm glad to hear your reduction went well. To me, it's one of the most satisfying procedures to perform and hear about in terms of patient experiences in my practice. I'd give it 3 months and then proceed with piercing. Just enough time for any altered sensation to come back so that you can...
Hello! Your breasts will continue to grow and shrink if you gain/ loose weight and in response to hormones etc. It is best to do a breast reduction when you are at a stable weight if you planning significant weight loss. Without pictures of your breasts and bra size info e.g. 32, 34,...
