Sculptra for mid face and periorbital regions? I’m 55 years and have temple and mid face volume loss with festooning. (Photos)

Sculptra will help stimulate collagen production and improve volume of the temples, midface, and lower face. I wouldn't use it in the peri-orbital area as it can form nodules. I would recommend combining it with fillers to get optimal results. Number of vials and treatment sessions should be determined after an in-person consultation and evaluation. Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photograph.  I do think that Sculptra can be of assistance in providing additional soft tissue volume but it does take time to see the final results. I would recommend combining some HA fillers at the same time to see an immediate improvement while waiting for Sculptra’s effects 6weeks to 6 months later.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question.  Many of the lines caused by aging in the midface are due to volume loss.  Sculptra is a great injectable that promotes collagen synthesis, which is your body's natural filler.  I would start low and go slow.  I would go with a vial in the midface and one for the temples.  It takes about 6 weeks until you get a "final" result, and if you need more a second session is sometimes required.  The effects last a lot longer than HA fillers.

In my practice we utilize a substantial amount of sculptra as a foundation product for natural correction of age related volume loss. Typically we treat with two vials for the entire face including temples and we treat a total of three sessions. This can vary depending on what exactly bothers you. I will note that often patients elect to have additional filler in areas that require more volumization. Lastly this is not an instant gratification product; you must give it time to have adequate correction. 

I think you would certainly benefit from Sculptra Aesthetic treatment to correct facial volume loss. Multiple treatment sessions will be required using atleast 2 vials per session initially. I would also consider Restylane treatment to the undereyes to help with volume loss and dark circles.
