Regular headaches after chin implant: I got a large chin implant about six weeks ago.

I had a lot of swelling at first, but things seem to be healing nicely now. I still notice some tightness in my lower jaw and I have a slight headache almost daily. Is this from my chin implant and the jaw strain causing the headache and does it go away over time?

There is redness under the chin. I would see the surgeon and maybe run a Culture on the wound drainage, if there is any. Antibiotics will help.

There are a variety of solutions including some permanent and some temporary. In order to achieve the most natural results, I would recommend a sliding genioplasty for your chin and jaw angle implants for the posterior. Good luck

It looks that you would benefit from chin augmentation. In your case chin implant would be the best solution. However, chin augmentation with fillers as well as fat grafts is available as well. Good luck.
