Liposuction caused deformity including severe hip dips. What are my options to fix this issue?

I had outer thigh lipo 6 months ago. The surgery went wrong and now I have a massive hip dip. The fat concentrations moved above and below the hip area and I look 100X worse than prior to my surgery. My surgeon is telling me that they can do a fat transfer and hope it works. Since fat dies they do not know how much to put in and how much will live. TMy question is ... what do I do? I cant look at myself in the mirror, I cry every single day, and I need some advice.

I'm sorry to hear that your results did not go as planned. Once access liposuction has been done resulting in hip dips, fat transfer to the area is the best solution. An experienced surgeon in fat grafting will know how much to inject and their usual survival rates. This does not mean that you might need a touchup or a revision. A nonsurgical option would be to use Sculptra with PRP, but depending on the amount necessary it could get pricey.#StayBeautiful #RealDrWorldWide

Thank you for your question.  Over-resection can be a significant problem with liposuction, especially if performed by inexperienced hands.  Fortunately, your issue can likely be addressed and significantly improved with fat transfer.  If undertaken correctly and if appropriate post-op care is given, approximately 60-75% of the fat that is grafted to the area will remain permanently.  A surgeon experienced with this technique will anticipate this and overcorrect accordingly.  Don't despair!  Your problem is correctable.

This is difficult to answer without pictures. For best results improving irregularities, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction revision. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result.
