I lost my BBL weight, can I get it back?

Question

Hi, im 20 now when I was 19 (last year July) I got a BBL with liposuction. Unfortunately around December last year I fell into very big depression due to personal mental health issues and traumatic experiences. I stopped eating, I probably had a small snack or nothing every day and lost huge amount of weight. It impacted my depression too. wondering, if I start working out can I get my body back? And how should I work out and what should I eat as I still struggle with eating. Please help thanks

Begin with light exercises and gradually increase intensity. Focus on a mix of cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and flexibility exercises.

Aim for a balanced diet with a variety of nutrients. Include lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. Consider small, frequent meals if you’re struggling with eating.

Consider working with a certified nutritionist or personal trainer who can tailor a plan to your specific needs and monitor your progress.

Continue to prioritize your mental health. Seek guidance from mental health professionals to address your depression and emotional well-being.

Thanks for your question. Weight loss, weight gain and exercise do affect BBL results. The fat transferred to your buttocks is affected in the same manner as when you normally lose weight or gain weight or exercise. Hope this helps. if you gain weight, you will probably get back some of the results. however, some of transferred fat tissue is probably lost forever.

I suggest you start by talking to your primary care doctor about eating disorders and asked to be referred to specialist who manage individuals with eating disorders.
This is a bit out of the realm of what plastic surgeons to on a regular basis.
