How to fix a protruding Cupid’s bow? (Photo)

4 weeks ago, I had a filler to treat my smoker’s lines. In addition, my doctor injected into the upper and bottom vermilion borders. I have thin lips and a small mouth, and I feel like she over-injected Cupid’s bow as it’s protruding now, giving me the undesirable duck pout. In addition, the philtrum appears to be optically much longer, and the top lip almost disappeared. Would injecting filler into the lip body help to correct this, or would I end up looking like a duck only with fuller lips? T

I would recommend you wait 6 months for the fillers to clear and then consider a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.
