Unhappy with facelift result 2 years post op - are my results satisfactory? (photos)

Sometimes, the results don't fully meet expectations, especially if the procedure was meant to address early signs of aging. It's possible that the changes are subtle, which might be less satisfying if you were expecting a more dramatic difference.

It is very difficult to answer your question based on the photos provided. All facelifts go through a maturation process with soft tissue laxity increasing with age. There is no such thing as a “permanent” result as we continue to age. I tell my patients we will turn back the clock but we will not stop it. No one can.
I would advise discussing your concerns with your surgeon with an open mind.

It's not possible to render judgment without more complete information, and the preop photography is missing. However, I do not see anything of concern in your photos. If your indications were minimal to begin with, the changes seen would not have been as dramatic.

I don’t see anything wrong in the photos although they are quite limited. Facelifts often don’t do much for the nasolabial fold so perhaps you expected more than a facelift can deliver
