My surgeon propsed me performing an endoscopic preperiosteal “deep plane” face lift combined with a deep neck surgery. His rationale was I am relatively young male (39) and I don’t have so much excess skin and placement of incisions in male patients are a bit concern in standard “deep plane facelifts” particularly when this is not an absolute necessity. My surgeon aims to release all 3 main ligaments in my face and addressing mid face/jawls/neck. Is this procedure safe and effective?

Is it firm or soft? Has a revision been attempted?
I would advocate opening the area and seeing what is causing it. Soft tissue smoothing over the area should alleviate the ridge.
An exam would be necessary before more suggestions.
