It's almost two years since my deep plane facelift. I still have a swelling (ridge) on my cheek that hasn't gone down. My surgeon says it can't be fixed. Could this have been avoided, and is there really nothing that can be done about this now?

You are now far enough out from your surgery that any swelling should have receded. You mentioned fat grafting which I assume was in the tear trough/cheek region. This swelling may be due to the transferred fat. Light massage in the area as well as cold packs should help. Should it not it is...
