3 months post revision, how long should I wait until my next revision to reverse BBL?

I understand your concern. Most surgeons would recommend you wait at least 6 months. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Three months post-BBL is very early in the game, with much of what you see is residual swelling. Be patient, wait another 9+ months and you will see a significant amount of swelling and fat resorption….and, in your case, hopefully pleasantly surprised.

You are still very early in the healing phase after a second procedure to the same area. You should really wait a full year as the swelling takes much longer to fully resolve with each consecutive procedure.

Without showing proper before and after pictures, we can’t make an assessment. Without an assessment, we can’t give you useful recommendations. For people of had more than one procedure we need to see the before and after pictures of both procedures. If you don’t have a proper before, and after pictures, and then ask your sergeant to forward the ones they took. most providers recommend waiting, six months before doing revision surgery. sometimes it depends on circumstances or what the procedure is.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
