How can I fix my 3 year old BBL results? (Photos)

I had a BBL in Istanbul in 2023. Thesw are my results now and i desperately want it fixed. My hips look terrible and disconnected from my body My original surgeon said he will do liposuction on my hips but I am scared that liposuction alone will make it worse Please advise how I could fix this and if I should go back to the original surgeon

I understand how disappointing an unsatisfactory BBL result can be. Fortunately, revision surgery can often restore a smoother, more harmonious silhouette when planned carefully.
A detailed examination is essential before deciding on the best approach.
The concern is not simply excess fat around the hips. The transition between the waist, hips and buttocks and restoring its continuity, should be the primary focus of your revision, rather than removing more fat from a single area.
Revision should focus on restoring this transition rather than removing more volume. Depending on your examination, this may involve selective liposuction, strategic fat grafting and, if skin laxity is present, lifting procedures.
Just as importantly, try to stay in a positive mindset throughout this process. Revision cases often lead patients to overanalyze every detail and make decisions too quickly. Remind yourself that with patience, a thorough evaluation and a surgeon experienced in revision body contouring, achieving the silhouette you envision is possible.

Thank you for the question. It is hard to advise you without examining you. However, it seems that loose skin is the issue in the areas of concern. If so, you will need a skin removal surgery such as tummy tuck or body lift.

You really should not approach this as a lipo problem, it is a BBL reversal. From the photos, there is a definite contour difference between your grafted and non-grafted buttock. Simply lipo the hip and it will look worse because there will be a more obvious demarcation between the lipo'd region of the hip and your buttock and skin laxity and cellulite. That lipo will exaggerate that deficit and make the concavity between the hip and the buttock appear worse.

I approach it differently. I lipo the saddlebag or whatever bulges need doing to create a flowing, uniform line. Then I add fat to your upper outer buttock and that dip down into the hip region to round it out into one smooth slope from your flank into your buttock. You will also require a lateral thigh lift and buttock lift. This will pull your lateral thigh up and make it tight, decreasing the appearance of cellulite.

To start with in order for us to make a quality assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure we need to see proper before and after pictures
If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
Without knowing what you look like before the operation,we don’t have a good understanding of the implication of the operation.
Liposuction seems like it would be your best option since the BBL was overdone especially in the hip area.
I don’t think it should be
that difficult, but it is very important that you pick a plastic surgeon who has extensive experience a Liposuction.
Preferably a plastic surgeon who focuses exclusively in Liposuctiononly.
 Look for those who do mostly Liposuction in their practice or at least those who have Liposuction as one of their most common procedures.
I highly recommend people do not travel for elective surgical procedures.
I recommend patients have in person consultations with several surgeons before considering selecting a provider and scheduling procedure.
When it comes to body conjuring, people should consider these as more or less permanent and reversible.
Of course, revisions are possible, but your best chance of getting a good outcome is during the first procedure.
Fore in person consultations come prepared bringing with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report which is part of your medical record that you should be able to request from your provider.
During each consultation ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you as many before and after pictures of previous patients with similar body characteristics as possible.
Seeing one or two examples of the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a good understanding of what average results look like in the hands of that provider.
Average providers Deliver average and most plastic surgeons or average.
To get exceptional results requires being in the hands of an exceptional provider.
Finding the right plastic surgeon isfar more difficult than most people realize.
In my opinion, it takes a significant amount of time and effort and requires meeting surgeons in person and betting .
 If you only meet with one plastic surgeon, then you eliminate the possibility of finding someone who is potentially better.
In conclusion, I think it should be relatively straightforward to improve your outcome to something that is more balanced and harmonious.
Perhaps your provider cando the job.
I don’t know.
Without seeing a significant number of before and after pictures, it’s not really possible to assess the confidence a plastic surgeon.
