Question

Why is one side of my lip more swollen than the other and will the swelling go down and my lips become even and will the lumps disappear in time? I have been icing my lips. How long should I wait before contacting my injector? Thanks

Yes, this can be typical. It takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Juvederm. If you have concerns about your treatment, I recommend following up with your injector. I hope this helps.

Hello, thank you for your question. It can take up to two weeks to see your final results from lip fillers, so my advice would be to hang in there and wait for swelling to continue to diminish. Thank you for your question. Having some bruising and swelling after filler injection is common. This can typically take up 2 weeks to resolve.  During this recovery time, the lips may appear uneven. If this unevenness does not improve after Two weeks, I would consult with your injecting physician to reevaluate the product placement.
