Revision surgery - do you have to pay?

This depends entirely on the surgeon.  If I find that there is something that I think could have been done better from a technical point of view, I will fix it for free.  Losing weight should not be avoided just because you have implants.

 From your description it sounds as though a revision will procedure will be necessary. In my practice I do not charge patients a professional fee for a revision. This is made very clear to the patient's prior to the original operation.
