Thank you for your question.I would suggest contacting the provider who injected you for a follow up appointment to discuss your concerns and review any additional solutions that may help resovle this issue. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for acomplete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe foryou to have treatment.I hope this helps.
If you are having a problem after injections I strongly recommend seeing the physician who injected you immediately. Some problems which can occur after filler injection require prompt intervention for satisfactory resolution.
It sounds like it could bruising as a result of the injection. Or a possible reaction to the filler. You should go back to your doctor immediately so you can be assessed and properly treated. It doesn't sound serious but you shouldn't leave it unattended.
Juvederm typically adds a small amount of rigidity to the lips but they should not feel hard and tight if you were treated with a reasonable amount of filler. I would recommend returning to your injector for re-assessment. They can advise you on how to proceed. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
If your upper lip is truly rock solid, something is amiss. The two most likely possibilities are an overabundance of filler or a hematoma caused by bleeding. If there is a hematoma it will be accompanied by significant bruising. If you just have too much filler on board, this can be reduced with hyaluronidase. It is best to see your doctor, who can examine you and make specific recommendations. Best of luck.
You need to see the doctor that injected you. I haven't seen this problem. It probably needs to be removed with hyaluronidase. This will clear the problem up quickly. I prefer Restylane Silk now for my lip enhancements.
Hi. There's no link I'm aware between early loss of filler and steroids.Possibly, the anti-inflammatory effect of the steroids reduced a little of the post-injection swelling you were seeing, making the lips look less full. All the best,
I think it's possible since you didn't have any filler Injected where it's mottling and it doesn't seem like an allergic reaction. It's possible one of the ascensing arteries is affected. You skin tone looks good. I would call your injector and have him or her see you soon to evaluate this.
Hey, looks you earned an A+ for effort. However, your overall look is definitely an F. It's time to start over, find a new injector, reverse the filler because and try again. Best of luck
