I am 12 months post op from my second FUE procedure and feel that the growth peaked and looked next after 6 months. Now that I’m 12 months on the hair count has definitely fallen and it looks nowhere near as dense as it did 6 months ago. I have been using Dermmatch and a thickening dry shampoo on my hair for months now and even wondered if this may have had a negative effect? Will a 12 month course of PRP treatment help to bring my hair back and make it look fuller and denser again?

Yes, PRP has been found in certain medical and clinical trials to be effective in treating Alopecia Areata (AA). However, a full physiological evaluation by a board-certified hair transplant surgeon is necessary in figuring out program frequency and application.

Thank you for your question, This needs an in-person evaluation. I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. There are great non-invasive options like prp/progesterone and/or hair transplantation. ...
When finesteride has failed some doctors will use it. its best to be using PRP/stem cell (A Cell) injections, viviscal and topical minoxidil at the same time. Best, Dr. Emer.
