Prp will still be effective. Try to get it done every 2-3 months you will see its benefits. 1 session won't give much of a result

Many patients seek PRP after a hair transplant, 1, 2 or more years after.  The transplanted hair is still your hair and should respond to PRP.  More studies will need to be done to address this question directly, but most physicians who inject PRP would recommend this treatment after hair transplant since hair loss is a progressive process in the majority of patients.

PRP injections by themselves or combined with stem cells would definitely help in making your hair thicker and stronger as long as you have existing viable hair follicles. We always recommend taking a supplement which in my practice has become a staple for all patients due to the amazing results we've had, and it's called Nutrafol. I would suggest taking that for a minimum of 4-6 months as well. The number of treatments you would need will vary as per your results, and it's best to get an in person evaluation with an expert physician. Most likely, a series of 3-4 treatments followed by maintenance sessions every 3 months should give great results.

The research performed and the anecdotal evidence would suggest that thickness of hair and density can improve with PRP injections.  The number of sessions as well as the quality of PRP obtained will vary considerably physician to physician.

PRP  can increase the thickness of existing hair shafts by up to 30%. This can give a significant Improvement in fullness. It can also stimulate regrowth of hair if the follicles are present and active. Regrowth is harder to predict.Jeff Rapaport MD FAADRealself All-star

After your two FUE procedures PRP may help your hair growth.  A full hair regrowth protocol including supplements and products from a stylist experienced in hair regrowth should only help.  PRP will certainly cause you no harm and cost considerably less than another surgical procedure.

You don't include any photos from before the procedure.  One of your 12 month postop ones looks like your hair may be wet- this can make it look thinner.  At one year postop. I'd suggest a visit to your surgeon to review preop photos and discuss your concerns.  PRP may be helpful to regain lost native hair, and hopefully you're also using products to prevent further loss and maintain your hair such as minoxidil (Rogaine), finasteride (Propecia) and laser (LLLT).  You can discuss all of this with your surgeon and also consider use of scalp micropigmentation to improve the results of your transplant.

i don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer. it certainly should not cause any problems doing PRP to your scalp. it should and could be helpful. however there is no test you can do beforehand so you just need to plan to do 3 sessions and then give it a few months to assess the results, to decide if you want to do further sessions.david berman md
