Answer: My vagina feels open when I squat down, can surgery fix this? Hello, if you feel that your vagina opens too much and air enters when you squat and this causes discomfort to you, vaginal tightening surgery or laser treatment may be beneficial for you. However, if there is only a slack at the entrance to the vagina, the perinoplasty procedure may also be suitable for you. It is best to decide on the procedure to be performed as a result of the gynecological examination.I wish you have a nice day .

Answer: My vagina feels open and air gets trapped inside Hello Ericaj567,Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, without photos I can't be much more helpful than to tell you that you are describing symptoms of vaginal relaxation and possible prolapse. You should have a consultation with a reconstructive and cosmetic vaginal surgeon, preferably a urogynecologist who specializes in vaginal rejuvenation procedures.See link below for more information on the type of training you should look for in your surgeon.Best of luck,Oscar A. Answer: What surgery can I get to fix the large opening of my vagina? Childbirth can cause laxity of the vagina and prolapse of the bladder, rectum, uterus and bowels. These are problems that can be repaired surgically if necessary. An examination by a qualified surgeon will be necessary. I would see a urogynecologist/FPMRS that is also a cosmetic surgeon as we specialize in pelvic reconstruction for women after childbirth as well as vaginal repair. If the symptoms are not bothering you then you typically won't need anything done. It will be important to mention to the doctor if you have pelvic pain, pain with your menses, pain with sex, bladder leakage - as this will be important with regards to what needs to be fixed and how it will be done. Best wishes.

Answer: Vagina feels open? Thank you for sharing your concerns. Vaginal looseness is a common complaint and can be caused by many different things. In answer to your question, it can be addressed with perineoplasty and vaginoplasty procedures. In order to determine your exact needs, you would need to be assessed by a board certified surgeon who specializes in pelvic reconstruction. Often, pelvic organ prolapse is identified at the time of consultation and could also be contributing to the sensations you are experiencing.
