Does my vagina look 'normal' and healthy?

Looking at the pictures, it does appear that you have hypertrophic labia minora and clitoral prepuce skin. Whether this is normal or not depends on whether you are having symptoms related to irritation from the labia, or inability to achieve orgasm from the clitoral skin covering teh clitoras. The vagina itself is difficult to evaluate from tehse pictures.

Dear Jessika_1999,A normal and healthy vagina poses no problems for its owner.  If you don't have any irritation/pain or abnormal discharge or odor, then your vagina is working the way it is supposed to.In terms of appearance, you are right in that there is a wide range of normal, and it is each person's right to like or not like their anatomy.  But you should not worry about what other people think.  Most guys are just happy to have sex and don't care about how it looks, and as long as your clitoris is accessible to stimulation, extra tissue should not be a concern.That being said, your labia are somewhat folded over and covering everything so it is hard to know exactly how much tissue you have.  If you don't like the extra tissue, you have the option of reducing it with a labia reduction, possible hood reduction.  But I would encourage you to embrace your body if it is not causing you any problems as surgery can have associated risks and complications.You can read more about labiaplasty at the link below.I hope this information is helpful.Sincerely,Dr. Troy Hailparn

The purpose of the labia minora is to cover and protect the vagina from the outside world. They're doing their job well in your photos. The only conditions under which you see the vaginal opening is when the perineum has been damaged usually through childbirth.

It would be difficult to determine whether your vagina is healthy based on photos alone. You need to see a gynaecologist for this assessment. In terms of appearance based on these photos, your genital area looks totally “normal”. You may have a lot of labial tissue that covers up your clitoris and vaginal entrance, but this is fine if it’s not causing you discomfort.

 The pics you submitted are really close up thereby making it nearly impossible for me to give you my opinion.   If you try and take a less zoomed and wider shot that would be helpful.   Also, are you having pain at all with intercourse?I would recommend seeing your gynecologist for an evaluation.Best of luck
