You are still very early in the healing stage this is normal just be patient and let everything heal and continue to follow up with your PS to discuss your concerns.Best wishes.
Dear Sandra34349,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast lift surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello dear!!Thanks for your question and provided information. You are still early on healing process. Right now you might have one breast bigger than the other, feel swollen, have pleats around the areola and also have bruises, this can happen for the first 3 to 4 months. What you are experiencing is normal. Please, be patient, but if the situation doesn't improve over time, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
These pleats typically resolve completely or "essentially completely" over time. Most patients will find they are pretty much done by 2-3 months though some with thicker skin and deeper pleats may take much longer.
The bunching and wrinkling you see is normal after a "donut" mastopexy, and can be expected to resolve over time, likely in the next 1-3 months. It is due to the outer rim of skin being more redundant than the inner rim of skin to which it was sutured.
Hello dear, thank you for your question. As i can see in your photo this is normal, it is expected to look this way at least for the first month after the surgery, with time the skin will lose a Little and relax the incision and get a better look. Anyways you should contact your doctor for further doubts. Good luck!
Hi and welcome to our forum! The periareolar or Benelli lift involves removing a segment of skin circumferentially around the areola. The smaller areola is then sutured to the margins of the larger circular defect. This initially causes "pleating", or wrinkling of the skin adjacent to the areola. This usually flattens and softens with healing as the skin envelope remodels. The scar will take a year to totally heal. This is a normal phenomenon.Best wishes...
You can wear an underwire bra now and it should not interfere with healing. However, I recommend another alternative called The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to i...
