I can see that this question has been answered before, but I had read some articles that had made this sound possible and I was hoping some doctors would be familiar with them. "Trans-Gender Induction of Hair Follicles" by Jahoda and Reynolds is one that states that transplantation of human follicle dermal sheath tissue between incompatible individuals can induce new hair follicle formation. And because the hair follicle has "immune privilege" it wouldn't be rejected. Anyone familiar with this?

Answer: In general you cannot receive donor hair from another person unless it is your genetically identical twin.
