HI i would like to know the difference between scab and crust. when i did my transplant, i had lot of prior hairs sticking out post 9 day HT and i had to massage them to get off. did see a lot of hairs coming off during the soft massage. attached is a picture. can you tell me if it is a scab or a crust or a graft. this is after 9 days post transplant.

I get this question a lot over the years.If you have coarse wavy hair in the donor site (back of head) than that is the way it will be when we relocate to the desired new location etc... It will keep the same characteristics.
