Thank you for your question, You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin.Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Dear 00Ksmith113,liposuction does not cause gas. There is a chance that pain medications cause constipation and gas. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Liposuction alone does not cause gas. However, taking narcotics will affect your colon and this can cause gas in some people. I would suggest drinking a fair amount of water, walking, cutting back on the narcotics, and taking a stool softener if needed.
The problem with gas after liposuction is not directly caused by the procedure. The most likely cause is taking pain meds afterwards. Opiods are commonly associated with nausea, vomiting, constipation and gas.
Liposuction does not cause flatulence. Perhaps taking opioid pain medication during or after the procedure can lead to constipation which can cause different flatulence patterns.I suggest focusing questions on plastic surgery.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
No type of liposuction causes gas. it is most likely related to constipation from narcotics that you are taking. The sooner you get off the narcotics, the better you will feel. also it may be a good idea to take a laxative such as Dulculax to help get things working.david berman md
Thank you for your question. You appear to be a great candidate for tumescent liposuction under local anesthesia. Your love handles and saddlebags can be reduced to give you the contoured shape you desire. There is very minimal downtime after the procedure since it is done as an outpatient...
Thanks for the question. Based on your words, you might be a good candidate for smart lipo. I recommend you to contact a Board Certified Surgeon for consultation. I wish you all the best.
Hello and thank you for your question. First I would like to say that SmartLipo is a fine modality. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the procedure. In fact, it represents a significant improvement over traditional or tumescent liposuction. SmartLipo applies heat to the fat tissue prior t...
