I recently had a few consultations in Korea for a facelift, and during one of them with a bone plastic surgeon, I was advised to consider cheekbone reduction. His reasoning was that I have some bulkiness or excess fat in my cheeks, and he mentioned that if I go ahead with a mid-facelift, my cheekbones could end up making my face appear wider. This caught me a bit off guard, as cheekbone reduction wasn’t something I had ever considered before. My main concerns have always been the asymmetry in my jawline, achieving a more contoured lower face, and tightening my neck area. Now I’m feeling a little confused about whether cheekbone reshaping is actually necessary or if it would take me further from the natural, balanced result I’m aiming for. I’d really appreciate any guidance on whether cheekbone reduction is something I should seriously consider in combination with a facelift
