Closed rhinoplasty works best in patients with near ideal nasal tip aesthetics with moderate to thinner skin. Based on your photos it will take significant reshaping and restructuring of your tip cartilage and skin envelope to create the amount of definition depicted in your goal photo. During an open rhinoplasty, aspects of your nasal tip contour such as the thickness of your skin, the curvature of your alar rims, the shape and rotation of your nasal tip, to name a few, can all be addressed with far more precision than a closed rhinoplasty with tip delivery approach could ever hope to offer.

Hi from Istanbul, thanks for your question. The procedures for correcting a bulbous tip are the same for both open and closed rhinoplasty. If you only need work on the nasal tip, a closed rhinoplasty is sufficient. If you also want a raised bridge, the choice between open and closed rhinoplasty will depend on the strength of your septum and nasal cartilage, which will be determined during the examination.
