Swelling in nose bridge after 4 years (Photo)

Question

It's been 4 years since I've had my nose done. The nose bridge is silicone implant and the tip is my own cartilage. I don't know if a bug but my nose tip or if it is infected. It is a little itchy, but it doesn't hurt. I also have this wart? in my nostril, it also doesn't hurt. But I am still worried.

Typically swelling in the nose after Asian rhinoplasty will be fully resolved in 2 years. Since you are already 4 years post-op, and swelling that occurs acutely should raise your suspicion for an infectious cause. The best course of action would be to follow up with your surgeon, and the second best would be to receive evaluation from a qualified physician to evaluate and treat you as necessary.

Hello, hope you are well. It appears that the bridge of your nose is swollen and a little erythematous. I advise that you see a local rhinoplasty surgeon as soon as possible, and likely start a course of antibiotics. Silicone implants carry a risk of becoming infected and in some cases require removal. Let's hope that's not the case, but this needs to be evaluated and monitored in person.
