I'm sorry you are going through this.  Hematoma can alter the course of recovery and can often change an excellent result to one which is less desirable.  This can only be addressed with a surgical revision at this point.  You can go back to your doctor, or if you have lost confidence in him, be sure to see someone whose focus is facelift and necklift surgery.

but in the meantime, stop doing things to the area and let it heal completely.  To have a revision, it has to be healed and no longer inflamed or scarred.  Yes, this is not an acceptable outcome in anyone's practice and I'm sure your surgeon is trying his best as he would not want you around town telling everyone who did your procedure for you  so you have some leverage here to get it redone when the time is right.  Again, best to leave it along for the time being and let it heal.
