Pictures would be helpful but I doubt you would be happy with cool sculpting. It is designed to decrease the fat layer but doesn't tighten the skin. If you have stretch marks and a large amount of loose skin don't waste a lot of money on treatments assuming you will tighten the skin. I would seek a board certified plastic surgeon's opinion first. Best of Luck
Hello,CoolSculpting is designed to reduce pockets of fat that are diet & exercise resistant. If by flaccid belly, you mean loose skin, CoolSculpting will not help with that. Thanks for the question.
Maria 2277 thank you for your question. An in person consultation is necessary to determine your best course of action. I highly recommend your are evaluated at an office that has attended Coolsculpting University. Also utilize a practice that offers multiple modalities for body contouring. While coolsculpting and Sculpsure can eliminate fat they are not best for skin tightening. They can be combined with other procedures like:VenusExilisThermageOr you may have better results with a combination of liposuction and / or tummy tuck.
Coolsculpting is good for stubborn areas of fat, but lacks skin tightening and body shaping. If the skin is loose, a tummy tuck is needed and can be performed at the same time as hi definition liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
CoolSculpting treatments lead to fat cell destruction over time and thus can reduce areas of unwanted fat. If there is excess skin as well, the CoolSculpting treatment will not help with this. Photographs or an examination of you would be needed to try and determine if you might be a good candidate for the procedure.
Thank you for your question. No, Coolsculpting is not used to treat flaccid skin. It is designed to treat pockets of stubborn fat. Flaccid or loose skin can be treated non-invasively with Exillis or Lutronic Infini devices. If the skin is very loose than you should seek a surgical consult. Best of Luck!
Cool sculpting does not cause skin tightening. Look instead for a new procedure called Bodytite which is Radiofreqeuncy Assisted Liposuction and has been reported to cause up to 40% skin tightening. Good luck.
This is a treatment for fat reduction in spots, not a treatment for skin looseness or sagging. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search.
Hello maria2277,Thank you for sharing your question with us. The very short answer is NO CoolSculpting will not help with loose or flaccid skin and is of no benefit to "tighten skin". If the flaccid nature is also associated with a large amount of subcutaneous fat then CoolSculpting will merely decrease this amount of fat after multiple treatments but will still have the hanging skin. Seek consultation with a center that performs both surgical (liposuction/"tummy-tuck") and non-surgical (CoolSculpting etc.) body contouring procedures to assess what direction is best for you. Be well.
CoolSculpting is a very safe fat-elimination technique that works by lowering the temperature of fat to the point where the fat cells begin to destruct. It does not affect surrounding tissue, nor will it have any effect on your circulation or cause blood clots. It is perfectly fine to take...
Thank you for your question. Swelling is a common side effect and can be experienced for 2-3 weeks post-treatment. You should not be worried about not experiencing swelling or bruising. This does not indicate that the treatment didn't work.Regards,
It takes three to six months to be able to appreciate your final results with CoolSculpting, as it takes the body time to eliminate the destroyed fat cells. Also, generally, you need more than one session to achieve optimal results, as only about 25% of fat can be removed during each treatment....
CoolSculpting is a great, FDA-approved treatment for fat reduction of the abdomen. Patients in our office have seen an average fat reduction of 20-25% with each treatment. Depending on the patient's body composition and outcome goals, it may take more than one treatment to achieve optimal res...
It sounds like you may still have swelling on the left side. I would recommend waiting at least another 3 weeks and for all the numbness and bruise feeling to go away before deciding whether it is PAH or not.
It's not a contraindication necessarily but make sure you go a BC PS office for your consult. I'm not convinced you'd be that happy with cool sculpting based on the abdomen photo you submitted. I would seek a surgical opinion and if you desire non surgical options only that's one thing, but b...
