I have a dent on my cheek, as you can see in the photo, and I'm pretty sure I have had it for a while. I didn't know what it was so I showed my friend and she said it's cellulite. Is that true? If so, can I fix it at the gym, or should I see a plastic surgeon??

Answer: Dent on buttock not cellulite Hello. The indentation on your buttock looks like a may be an area of fat atrophy. This sometimes happen when you have had a fall and developed a large hematoma. The pressure from the hematoma could have killed some of the fat cells leaving the dent. The treatment would probably be submission and fat grafting of the area.

Answer: Can I fix this "dent" with rigorous exercise or do I need to see a plastic surgeon? Thank you for your question. It appears that you may have an area of cellulite. This is caused by a fibrous connection between your skin and the underlying muscle. Options include doing nothing or Cellfina. Cellfina is a procedure designed to release the adherent band.
