Hardness around belly button, is that normal after a Tummy tuck?

After a tummy tuck the area will heal with scar tissue.  This is normal and the tissue feels firm.  The belly button has scar tissue around it as it heals.  This is normal and will resolve.  Good luck

The lumpiness, swelling, itching and hardness after a tummy tuck surgery like you had typically persists at least 8 weeks after the surgery then slowly goes away. In my experience, daily massage of the hard areas makes the biggest difference in getting rid of it sooner rather than later. It can easily take 6 months or more to see results.
