2 weeks post op, scar weeping. Is this normal?

i am post 2 weeks 2 days post op tummy tuck with hip flanks lipo ,and my scar where one of my dissolvable stitches as gone i noticed when i changed my dressing it had a blood like fluid on my dressing is this normal whilst it heals.

I generally recommend a simple abdominal binder after surgery.  We pull drains when they are less than 30 cc per day but if there is more then you may need the compression afterwards.  A binder is basically a wide belt that puts compression.  Discuss this with your plastic surgeon...

Thank you for your question. The answer is most of the time it can. An old piercing can be cut away most of the time. It will ultimately depend on how high your belly button is in relation to your eventual scar, on the scar placement and on how much extra skin you have above your belly button....

Thank you for sharing.It is normal for most patients have more swelling on one side then the other. Sometimes patients get more sweeping on one side because of their position while resting. Laying on your side while asleep can produce more sweeping on that particular side.It's hard to tell...
