Could removal of excess skin shorten the philtrum without increasing the size of my upper lip too much?

Hello, i would like to know if the shape my lips get after i pull the skin a bit, is the same they would get by removing some skin.. because i would like to shorten the philtrum without increasing too much upper lip's size.. and if i pull the lip with my fingers they get so weird... thanks ♥︎
