Hello everyone! I had lipo to my stomach because my surgeon recommended it, I initially asked just for skin tightening with body tite but I believed in his statement that lipo would be a good idea. AT the end of it, I hated the result, and I think I am too flat. I would like to reshape my belly and read volume to the areas lost. My surgeon recommended Sculptra for volumizing the area but I am not sure if I want to be dependent on Sculptra forever. Photos are= result and my before the procedure
Answer: Lipo revision Thank you for your question. Liposuction with more fat grafting could potentially give you a new area of concern unless there is a specific region that you want Lipo on. Sculptra try is permanent so I agree that I would tend to shy away from this option. My recommendation would be to wait least 12 months after the procedure and see how your body looks and feels then as I can take that long after liposuction to fully appreciate the result. The last thing you want to do is try to catch a moving target during the healing process. Good luck.

Answer: Liposuction revision Dear lalazita, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Can lipo revision + fat grafting reshape my belly and add volume to the areas lost? The attempted posted photos do not really demonstrate any deformities? Best to virtual consult with.... Also post before photos please. I would try injection therapies with a combination of Radeisse/Sculptra only in 2-3 sessions.

Answer: Liposuction results Your pictures are insufficient to make an assessment. I suggest posting proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have those ask your surgeon to forward them. The picture you posted the shower no evidence of anything being wrong. We need reference pictures. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results it’s more difficult than most people believe. And encourage people to be very selective before opting for liposuction which is a permanent and more or less your reversible procedure. Revision work weather done with revision Liposuction, fat transfer or a combination of both many times more difficult than primary Liposuction so the need to find a talented experience surgeon goes without saying. To find the right provider I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. Basket provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. Typically for primary procedures patients should expect an experience provider to be able to show at least 50 sets up before and after pictures of commonly performed procedures. For revision work this may be different. Revision work can definitely make things worse rather than better so choose your provider carefully. Bodytite is typically done in conjunction with Liposuction so in that sense your provider was correct.Personally I have a little faith that bodytite does anything in regards to skin tightening despite all of the claims. Consider reposting with better pictures or better yet start the consultation process with local providers who seem to be good at both Liposuction and fat transfer. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
