I really want to fill the radix i don’t know if fillers will do the job though. I have grabbed the skin where it needs to be filled to see how it would look and i like it but i don’t know how to get the skin filled or how it would stay.
Answer: Why dermal fillers may be right for you Thank you for your question and photo. Dermal filler injections are likely your best option to lift this area and produce a smooth result. Administering hyaluronic acid dermal filler can bring your entire nose into balance with the rest of your facial features and minimize the nasal bump, while making your nose appear smaller from the side and elongated from the frontal view. Though filler treatments are not as complex surgery, they still require a great deal of skill and precision to achieve the best possible results. In my office, we use a micro-cannula to inject this area, which minimizes bruising and swelling and ensures the smoothest outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced expert injector who can assess your concern and determine the best treatment option for you.

Answer: Radix I believe that you would benefit from an open rhinoplasty to help with the lowering the dorsum to provide a more smooth transition between the radix and the dorsum. Radix grafts or fillers can be complicated and migrate over time or cause other issues. I would highly recommend seeing a board-eligible of board-certified plastic surgeon with rhinoplasty experience, particularly one with 3D imaging that is capable of simulating your surgery so you can be on the same page regarding the outcome. Best of luck.

Answer: Radix augmentation The site can be filled with fillers (not permanent) or it can be filled with diced cartilage, soft tissues, or together to give a permanent change. Radix is a difficult area to get a smooth elevation, so find a skilled surgeon. Thanks.

Answer: Radix Hi @ash.marie007! A non-surgical approach can be achieved with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. You are able to raise the radix to help camouflage the hump. HA dermal fillers last between 6-12 months. If you are looking for a permanent solution, a cartilage graft can be placed to raise the radix and fill the area. I hope this was helpful!
