Hello, I am considering a rhinoplasty. I have a thick nose so debating how effective a procedure will actually do. My nose is a bit crooked and wide. I do small have a smaller chin that might make symmetry challenging. Was hoping to get thoughts about doing one with my situation. Thanks in advance.

It is possible to perform a rhinoplasty surgery (but we also need to check your medical condition first). You will probably need cartilage reconstruction especially for the tip.Best regards!

A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. it is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. In your case, you want a make sure that your surgeon has experience with ethnic rhinoplasties and thick skin. The incision in open rhinoplasty heals almost always invisibly. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
