Would a lower bleph work to remove these dark circles? Fillers and lasers don't work. (photos)

Hello. you need both volume replacement and color improvement to achieve your goals. We have found that Restylane can help with both (see link below). When we place Restylane under the eyes, it helps get rid of shadowing by changing the contour. In addition, because the gel is clear it can help to lighten the area slightly when placed under the muscle. We believe this is your best option.

Blepharoplasty will treat a dark circle caused by a physical hollow which can be exaggerated by a shadow cast by a protruding fat bag above it. A blepharoplasty will not directly treat a dark circle caused by dark pigment or fine purple vascularity.

The correct treatment for dark circles depends on the cause. Many patients have dark circles which are actually shadows. These patients find improvement when the contour of the under eye is improved with filler. This will not however completely correct the look if the underlying issue is dark pigmentation of the skin under the eye.
