Am I a good candidate for eye/eyelid surgery? If so, which procedure? (Photos)

Question

I have downturned, hooded, close set, deep set eyes. I use makeup on my eyes to make them appear more almond shaped. I have a strong brow bone and some hooding. What procedures would provide a more flattering eye shape? Would temple filler help anything? Overall, my eyes bother me. But I can't figure out exactly why. I posted pics with makeup and without.

To get a refreshed look to the eyes you can consider Botox and fillers.  While not permanent, they can provide improvement with no downtime.  If you are wanting a more permanent solution, surgical interventions such as a canthopexy can lift the outer portion of the eyes. Hi Koraj! I believe the procedure you are looking for is called a canthoplasty (or canthopexy) - basically what you want is to have a surgery that will tighten and lift the side (lateral) corners of your eyes so that they look less "downturned" and more "almond shaped" as you would say. It would give you a similar effect to what you are doing when you put the winged eyeliner going upward.

Good morning.Based on the photos, you do have prominence over the upper and outer aspect of your upper eyelid, which can be due to a combination of fat and bone. your outer corner of your eyes could also be elevated with a canthopexy to improve the eye shape. There is also a tear trough deformity under both eyes, which could be addressed with fillers.

Great series posted photos. You have orbital asymmetry, with temple hollowing. I might try non invasive options first of HA fillers to temple hollows (around 4 - 6 syringes $5,000+) with unilateral BOTOX (30 units $500)to elevate the lower eyebrow side. Maybe 1/2 syringe tear trough filler ($750). If not improved then must consider surgery, ie unilateral brow lift, upper lids with HA fillers. Expect that fee $10,000. Best to virtual with.....
