Sinusitis 2 years after rhinoplasty?

2 years ago I had a rhinoplasty from turkey. I didn’t realise but at the time of surgery I also had a staph infection. I was using a nose hair trimmer & would get pus filled pimples inside the nostrils each time I used it. After surgery I noticed they became more frequent. So I went to an ENT he did an MRI & X-ray and said I had mild sinusitis & it can be caused by the surgery.Is this true?Also my nose hair seems less in my nose after the surgery, i keep getting dust particles inside

The presence of mild sinusitis on an MRI needs to be correlated with how people feel. Many people have asymptomatic thickening of mucous membrane of the paranasal sinuses, and this is not always something that requires intervention. Radiologist may describe these benign conditions as sinusitis when they are not. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

There are many different sinuses. They are relatively unrelated to rhinoplasty surgery.
