Wanting to remove 375cc implants? (Photos)

Thank you for your question. In looking at your photo, I would put in you in the borderline category for needing a lift. If you were pretty happy with the appearance of your breasts, other than the overall volume, before augmentation, I think you will be fine with simple explantation. If sagging was a motivator for the augmentation, you may want to consider a lift at the time of explantation. Generally, a conservative approach is ideal. Removing the implants, allowing everything to heal and then deciding if you need any additional surgery will give you the most predictable and informed result. 
Another thought is that if your implants are saline, you can have a surgeon rupture them with a syringe in the office and let them deflate. If you are ok with the look, then just have them removed, if not go for explantation and a lift. Unfortunately, this option is exclusive to saline. 
Make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to have an individualized assessment and discuss all of your options. Your informed opinion is important in this situation.

It is a little difficult to advise you on whether or not you will need a lift when removing your implants as there are many factors involved that would determine your outcome.  Ideally, your first step would be to have the surgery to remove the implants and then give yourself time to recover.  You can then decide if you are happy with your result and if not, then consider a breast lift procedure. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Based on your pictures alone you should be able to remove your implants and obtain a nice natural breast result. If once healed your tissues sag too much for your own desire, you can have a lift performed at that time.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. I think that if you want your implants removed and do not want a lift, then that is exactly what you should do. If after everything is all healed up, you end up not being happy with the results, you can always do the lift later. There is a possibility that you will be happy without it and will not need it.Best of luck!

It his hard to predict whether or not your skin will retract after the breast implants are removed. The best way to tell is to have an inpatient consultation to assess the skin quality. I think you will be much happier if you remove the implants, wait about six months to a year and see if your skin retracts  and if you are happy. At that point the decision on whether or not to have a lift can be made.

If you truly do not want a lift you can certainly have the implants removed and see how you heal.  There are many factors that go into how much your skin will retract after implant removal.  If after your breasts are fully healed you are unhappy with your look, you can always pursue a lift at that point.

Once removed, you will have extra skin. If you do not want the additional scarring from a lift, you could consider radiofrequency treatment like ThermiTight to help tighten your skin.

Honestly, it is impossible to say for certain whether or not you'd need a lift. Depends on too many factors. However, I would advise you to have the implants out and then wait and see. Hopefully, your skin will "bounce back". If not, you can schedule a lift down the road. 

I have always found that counseling patients on removal and reconstruction after removal of breast implants is challenging and difficult. 
This is because placement of breast implants is relatively easy and economical and can produced good results upfront. 
Removal and reconstruction is challenging and has associated risks not only to obtain a reasonable breast shape after removal but also issues related to healing from required mastopexy tissue rearrangements. 
In your particular scenario, there would be a likely benefit from a lift type procedure to obtain a natural youthful breast shape and may be well worth the added expense and risks of surgery.
