Nostrils show and nose resembles a piggy nose. Can I hide the nostrils and have a natural appearance? (photos)

In this regard, I suggest perform a Closed Rhinoplasty (without visible scars) to treat the tip, base and nasal bridge. With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.

Wide nostrils and slight hanging columella. This can be corrected under local anesthesia without a full rhinoplasty. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who can show you natural results of his work with noses like yours.

Although the pictures you show are limited, it is very possible or you to have a thinner, more refined nose. An in person exam with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with rhinoplasty would be a good start. The best advice I can give you is look at the prospective surgeons before and after results closely and make sure that their results align with your aesthetic ideals.

These photographs are limited but the difference between your nose and the ideal one you selected is that the tip will require more support and definition and the nostrils will need to be reduced.  To maintain the round nostril that you like I would remove tissue from the floor of the nose and avoid incisions around the outside of the nostrils. You need an examination and good photogrpaahs to help in the planning process.

First of all, I’m sorry that you feel that way about your nose. Fortunately, you can do something about it through rhinoplasty, which can improve the contour and proportion of your nose, hence enhancing facial harmony.

There are 3 issues with respect to nostrils and they are the left to right distance between the outer edges, the degree of tip rotation making them visible from the front and the thickness of the nostril rims. Your submitted photos only allow assessment of the rims because there is no side view or inclusion of the eyes in the photos. The left to right distance is decreased by removing nostril wedges of tissue. The tip rotation is controlled by tip to septum sutures and/or cartilage struts. When properly performed these maneuvers can have natural results.

An alar-plasty can accomplish narrowing the wide nostrils. A columella-plasty can address reduction of the hanging columella. For more information and many examples, please see the link and the video below
