Can I get a genioplasty done, and how much would it cost? (Photo)

Based on your photos and cephalometrics you are an excellent candidate for genioplasty surgery. With genioplasty, the natural chin bone and muscle attachments are moved forward up to 9-10 mm.  This should eliminate your lip incompetence. I would not recommend a chin implant in your case. The genioplasty surgery is performed in our office with intravenous sedation and takes about an hour. Most young patients are able to return to work in a few days. 

When you have a major chin deficiency as you do, you need to first look at treating the bony problem first. If you have a major malocclusion then braces and orthognathic surgery would be the best course. You x-rays clearly shows you have a reasonable bite relationship. If you can accept your occlusion as is then a sliding genioplasty would be the most therapeutic for bot aesthetics and lip competence. Your chin bone needs to be moved forward and vertically shortened a bit.  A chin implant would be the least desirous choice as it would require a big implant, would elongate your chin and it will not improve lip competence.

 A genioplasty is performed under general anesthesia in a hospital setting with the overnight stay, is much more invasive and is usually performed by an oral surgeon  when the teeth are significantly out alignment. For purely cosmetic purposes,  a chin implant can be inserted under local anesthesia which takes approximally 30 minutes, and is much less invasive.
