Hi, I dislike my profile due to having a weak chin, also my lips don’t close together unless I force them to be closed. 1-would a genioplasty or a chin implant be a better choice for me? 2-is it best to do that procedure with a maxillofacial surgeon or a cosmetic surgeon? 3-I know that the price of a genioplasty or chin implant vary based on the state and the doctor who does it, but I would like to get a price range of how much it might cost in order to have a better idea please. pics attached

A 3D CT scan is needed to determine the extent of your chin/jawline asymmetry and the exact treatment needed. But based on just this one picture, a sliding genioplasty that brings the chin forward and over to the midline may be what is needed to correct the bony asymmetry.
If your bite and teeth are good then a sliding genioplasty is the best option for you. If your teeth are not aligned you may need orthognathic surgery with braces etc. Consider a consultation to do an exam and learn some of the issues and solutions that are best for you. Best wishes.
Advancement sliding genioplasty surgery is usually accomplished in under 1 hour. Reverse genioplasty can sometimes take longer. Both surgeries are performed in our state of the art surgicenter under intravenous sedation.
