How long does the surgery for sliding genioplasty last?

Advancement sliding genioplasty surgery is usually accomplished in under 1 hour. Reverse genioplasty can sometimes take longer. Both surgeries are performed in our state of the art surgicenter under intravenous sedation. 

The length of surgery will depend of how complex procedure is as well as skill/experience of the surgeon.Once you find what procedure you exactly need, you should discuss this aspect with your surgeon. Good luck.

Almost all sliding geniplasty surgeries are completed in 60 to 90 minutes under general anesthesia in my experience.
