I had a full SMAS FL/NL , upper and lower BL and platy March 29, 2022. I paid 24k... Feeling like my Dr missed multiple marks?? Loose skin, lids hanging and ridges and bumps under jaw?? He is willing to revision using same technique... No stitches up from ear into hairline, just staples. This is not a good , acceptable result correct? Dr's what are your thoughts.... So disappointing
Answer: Revision I would recommend obtaining a second opinion from an experienced aesthetic plastic surgeon who actually does lots of facial surgery. I would personally perform a revisionary facelift/neck lift with facial fat grafting and/or some type of resurfacing skin procedure such as a deep chemical peel. These are all my own opinions based on the photos provided. I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon who has great training and experience in aesthetic surgery.

Answer: Loose skin, lids hanging and ridges and bumps under jaw after facelift. What are your thoughts for a revision? Hello @Beemer01, thank you for your question and showing your pictures. Several factors can influence the healing process following surgery. These factors include the surgical technique used by the surgeon, the type of procedure performed, and the level of recovery the patient is experiencing. To make an informed recommendation, we need more information. A consultation is vital to establishing a surgical plan that meets your needs, meets your expectations, and takes into account what is possible. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Revision Results Hi there! Thanks for your questions. I see what you're talking about and am sorry that you're experiencing this. I would definitely meet with your surgeon to determine what may be the best course of action. It's almost been 1 year so a majority of your result has settled at this point. If you don't feel comfortable with your current surgeon, seek consultation with several others to see what may work for you. Other "non-invasive" options would be Morpheus 8 or CO2 to help with the skin. Hope this helps!

Answer: Facelift revision The main problem I see is the pouches at the corners of the mouth.. it is possible that the skin was not freed up from the muscle in that area. Extensive elevation of that skin and redirecting should give you improvement in that area
