Should I be concerned with loss of facial sensitivity prior to revision facelift?

I had a deep plane facelift and necklift with removal of buccal fat 2 years ago, this past month, with a board certified NYC surgeon who had his residence at a top Ivy League school. There was not enough in the lifting and re-draping of the skin throughout the lower third of my face to restore the triangle of beauty which was my goal. Should I be concerned prior to revision surgery that there is still some lack of sensitivity in the areas in front of the ears along the jaw and under the chin?
