I had a Facelift/Necklift a year ago. I have been left with dog ears under my chin thet are extremely visible. My tragus on both ears are not visible but not amputated. I also ended up with a scar from necrosis. Needless to say I’m beyond devastes and only 48. How long do I have to wait to get a revision and is this something be improved. Thank you.
Answer: Facelift You can have a revision after one year. It’s worth getting other opinions as to how to deal with the several issues you have. Not difficult to fix but you need to find the right surgeon

Answer: Revision I recommend that a patient waits 1 year prior to any revisionary surgery. I would recommend a revision facelift/necklift with facial fat grafting. The contour irregularity around the jawline appears to be poorly sutured platysma or possible traction indentation from over pulling on under-released tissues. This may also be related to a potential burn if they occurred in that area. The tragus is not visible due to the scar and inset. These can also be addressed.

Answer: How long do I have to wait for a revision facelift/necklift A good discussion with your surgeon will help you determine exactly what is causing this issue. Usually, it is best to wait approximately a year although sometimes it is wise to wait even longer. However these appear quite prominent and unlikely to disappear if you have already waited that amount of time. Often this can be corrected with smaller procedures under local anesthesia in the office. This may require techniques including loosening the skin through a chin incision to allow the skin to read drape itself. There is always risk when dealing in this area as there is a nerve that goes to the lip that lives nearby to this. Discussed this with your surgeon however and he or she should be able to come up with a solution.

Answer: How long do I have to wait for a revision face and neck lift? As long as it's been one year it is acceptable to undergo a revision lower face and neck left to address all of your concerns. In addition to redefining your tragus, also important to shorten your ear lobes, address the dog ears under your chin, and remove additional fat deposits located below the platysma muscle in your neck. Choose your second surgeon very wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results. Study Your prospective surgeon's before and after facelift photo Gallery and specifically look at the after results
