Not really is the short answer. In most patients, the only real indicator - sensation wise - is that the muscle starts to move again. The visual cue is wrinkle formation where the Botox was injected previously.
there should be no changes in sensation or feeling remember botox works on the muscles not the nerves. you will start to see wrinkles again and get more movement as it wears off. I suggest dermarolling at home as this aslo helps fine wrinlkes and we combine this with reve skin retinol, anteageMD + accelerator stem cells and is clinical vitamin C as a base for antiaging. see link to emeragecosmetics.com where we do free skincare consults daily. Thank you for sharing your question. In most cases there are no sensations that are felt but some do notice an increase in headaches that had been reduced while their Botox was still working. Hope this helps.
Botox affects muscle movement but does not affect sensation, so there should not be any change in sensation from a Botox treatment or during the time that it is wearing off. Injection of any substance can cause bruising or swelling and this is possible with Botox. Because the effects of Botox are temporary, any side effects that might develop should be temporary as well.
Being botox a neuromodulator that relaxes the muscle movement, movement is the only feeling you should feel and see when Botox is wearing off. Besides the movement, the tiny creases and wrinkles you had in the area can restart to appear. On some occasions, patients experience migraines reappear when specific muscles have been treated around the forehead area with Botox.
Thank you for your question. As the Botox begins to wear off you may start to feel movement again which can feel a little strange at first. This will normalize quickly. I hope this helps.
Interesting question SeharaxoIn general besides noticing the return of animation in the treated area you may notice your tension and migraine headaches returning as the botox wears off, if thats something you suffered from before. You may also notice slight mood changes since Botox also seems to work as a natural anti depressant.Hope that was helpfulBestE Michael Tachuk MD, Trustee California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery
The only feeling you should experience as Botox is wearing off is increased movement in the muscle that was injected. There should be no further side effects. I recommend consulting with your injector if you are experiencing other sensations as your Botox is wearing off.
Hello and thank you for your question, No there should not be any sensations as the Botox wears off and none of my patients have experienced this. Best wishes. Dr. T
The vast vast majority of patients have no sensations when it is wearing off. I've had a couple patients mention the skin feels a bit itchy, and another couple mentioned that they could tell when it was wearing off (sounded like a bit of a tingling or minor twitching).
The answer is "yes" - no problem. It is perfectly safe whilst on herceptin. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist
Hi, Botox brow lifts can certainly achieve a mild to moderate similar effect in the first instance. If you require a more dramatic lift; fillers, threadlifts and surgery are other options. Please consult a medical practitioner for a face to face assessment. Kind regards, Dr Ana. Kat & Co Aesthetics
In your case, the amount of product injected may be no longer enough to give the result that you need. In cases like this, you can try increasing the amount of product or change to another neuromodulator besides Botox-like Dysport or Xeomin. Waiting for a while may not be effective if you want...
