Is it possible to achieve horizontally elongated eyes with a slight lift through Botox? (Photo)

Hello. I am interested in potentially getting Botox/filters around my eyebrow area to slightly change my eye shape and lift them. I want more horizontally elongated eyes with a slight positive cantilt tilt like in the bottom photo. Is it possible to achieve this with just Botox and fillers? Thanks.

Botox it Is a wonderful option for improving wrinkles of the forehead/eyes and it can be very addictive because people love what they see. When given in certain spots, your surgeon can achieve a “chemical Brow lift” with Botox alone. There are also many other options such as laser and chemical peels that can further improve the skin itself. Botox works by relaxing the muscles and usually needs to be repeated every 3 to 6 months.

Surgery is another option but obviously more invasive and has scars.

I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of brow lifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as Botox injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure you walk out of there with several options.

Hello,Thanks for your question.Non-surgical treatments( Botox and derma-fillers) can't change the shape( anathomy) of your eyes, however it is possible to raise the browns and in particular the tail : lateral brown lift. the lateral brow can be improved with threads, fillers, and botox. you need to see an expert. morpheus treatmetns and thermage also help the eyes and hte lids themselves.  For eye improvement we also suggest weekly eye rolling at home from emeragecosmetics.com see link.  WE do a lot of eye threads and patients really like that along with the botox (see video).  Best, Dr. Emer.

At best, you can achieve a brow lift with Botox. Consider consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon to address your concerns.Hope this helps!

Botox can create a conservative lateral brow lift, giving the eye a more open, well rested appearance.  it does not change the shape of the eye.  Fillers would not be able to change the shape of the eye either.
